Not many people are aware that the town of Looe has been voted the third best place in the country to be on New Years Eve, and it certainly lives up to all expectations. If you want a New Year that's different then your destination has to be Looe. Thousands of people from all over the country make the journey each year so it's wise to book your accommodation early. It's not unusual for accommodation places for the night to be fully booked as early as September. If you plan to come remember, fancy dress is the norm. In fact if you don't bring fancy dress you just might feel out of place. The more outlandish the fancy dress the better. However we are still awaiting the appearance of Lady Godiva.
